Kids Helping Kids Food Drive:
Well, the 11th Annual Harvest for the Hungry Kids Helping Kids Food Drive was a huge success. We doubled the amount of schools participating in this program this year. We have a total of 82 schools who collected over #110,000 pounds of food for those less fortunate in Anne Arundel County. A Job Well Done!!!! Last year, Ane Arundel County schools took three of the top ten places in poundage collected. These schools earn prizes and recognition.

It has come to our attention that some schools contact pantries directly to donate food from this food drive. That's Great!!! We appreciate your help! However, in order for the students to get service learning credit and recognition from the state, please let us know who these schools are, when the drive is and how much food they donated. Our children deserve to have their efforts recognized.

Send Us Your Recipes:
We would appreciate any recipes for the USDA commodities that any of our pantries are willing to share with others.

To All of Our Members:
As always, thank you for all of your hard work in caring for Anne Arundel County's less fortunate citizens.

Food Drives:
The Boy Scouts Food Drive was held on March 3, 2001. They collected over 30,000 pounds of Food in Anne Arundel County.

Upcoming Events:
