Collectively, 142,992 pounds of food and $97,477 was collected during the 2010 Fall Kids Helping Kids Harvest for the Hungry Food Drive was collected by 139 Anne Arundel County Schools and the Board of Education!!
Your Anne Arundel County Food Bank, in conjunction with the Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kevin Maxwell, Anne Arundel County Public Schools, Senator Ed Reilly and County Executive John Leopold, will recognize the top winning schools in the Kids Helping Kids Harvest for the Hungry Food Drive. This will also kick-off this year's food drive competition!!

Your Anne Arundel County Food Bank will be collecting food at our facility located on the Crownsville State Hospital Grounds, Central Kitchen for the hungry!! Simply drop off your non-perishable items!!
We also accept money donations for this worthwhile cause!!! Please send your check or money order to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank, P.O. Box 650, Crownsville, Maryland 21032. You may also donate online through our secure PayPal account on this site. Remember all donations are tax deductible and go to feed the hungry in Anne Arundel County!!

19th Annual "Stamp Out Hunger" Food Drive begins May 14, 2011!!!
The 19th Annual "Stamp Out Hunger" Food Drive is May 14, 2011. On that day, residents are asked to leave non-perishable goods for letter carriers to collect during their appointed rounds. Please leave your donations at your mailbox for the carriers or drop off at your area Post Office!! Please note all Anne Arundel County Post Offices will be collecting for the Anne Arundel County Food Bank!! Click here for the post card!!

The Cub Scout Packs and Boy Scout Troops throughout the Capitol District will be conducting their annual "Scouting For Food" drive that begins on February 26th (Saturday) with distributing bags to residences all over the Capitol District (Anne Arundel County). Drive from February 26th til March 5th!

The Anne Arundel County Food Bank was burglarized overnight on Thursday, December 2, 2010. Please link on the links below for more information. We want to thank The Capital, WBAL-TV, The Washington Post, The Sun, FOX 45, ABC 2 NEWS, WTOP, and CBS for reporting this incident so quickly. We hope to continue operations on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 9:00am with your support and donations. Thank you for your continued support, for without it we would not be able to continue helping needy families.
